1. Description of Service

Dup is a macOS application for identifying and managing duplicate files. The app scans folders using advanced hashing algorithms to detect duplicates and enable storage recovery.

2. Dup Pro Subscription

Premium features include visual side-by-side comparison, one-click duplicate deletion, Smart Select, cloud drive support, and priority support. Free features encompass unlimited scanning and result viewing without subscription.

3. Subscription Pricing and Billing

Cost: $14.99 annually (USD or local equivalent)
Trial: 7-day free trial with no charges during this period
Renewal: Automatic annual renewal via Apple ID unless cancelled 24 hours before billing date
Payment Processing: All transactions are handled through the Apple App Store. Devpon does not collect or store payment data.

4. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription via System Settings > Apple ID > Media & Purchases > Manage Subscriptions > Dup Pro. Pro access continues through the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

5. Free Trial

The free trial is available to new subscribers only. If you cancel during the trial period, no charges will apply. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically activate.

6. Restoring Purchases

Subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID and remain accessible across devices using the same account credentials. Use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app to recover your subscription.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Delete files without proper authorization
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
Redistribute the application or any part of it
Use the application in any way that could damage or impair the service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. You assume all risk associated with using the application. Deleting files is a permanent action and Devpon accepts no responsibility for data loss.

9. Limitation of Liability

Devpon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits, arising from the use of or inability to use the application.

10. Apple's Standard EULA

Use of Dup is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In the event of any conflict between these terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's terms shall take precedence.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through in-app or website notifications. Your continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
